17 § Section 17

De som genomgår utbildning ska av huvudmannen för utbildningen ges tillfälle att medverka i arbetsmiljöarbetet på arbetsstället, om det är rimligt med hänsyn till utbildningens art och utbildningsperiodens längd.

Persons undergoing education or training must be given the opportunity, by the person responsible for the education or training, of taking part in work environment activities at the workplace, if this is reasonable given the nature of the education or training and its duration.

Omfattningen och utformningen av elevernas deltagande i skolans arbetsmiljöarbete ska anpassas efter deras ålder, mognad och förutsättningar i övrigt när det gäller

  1. elever i förskoleklass och i lägre årskurs än årskurs 7 i grundskolan, specialskolan och i motsvarande utbildningar samt i sameskolan,
  2. elever i anpassade grundskolan, anpassade gymnasieskolan och motsvarande utbildningar, och
  3. elever i kommunal vuxenutbildning som anpassad utbildning.

The scope and form of pupils’ participation in the school’s work environment activities must be adapted to take account of their age, maturity and other circumstances in the case of:

  1. pupils in preschool class and in years below year 7 in compulsory school, special school and equivalent education, and Sami school;
  2. pupils in adapted compulsory schools, adapted upper secondary schools, and equivalent education, and
  3. pupils in municipal adult education as adapted education.

Elever i grundskolans årskurs 7-9, specialskolans årskurs 7-10 och gymnasieskolan samt motsvarande utbildningar företräds i arbetsmiljöarbetet av elevskyddsombud.

Pupils in years 7-9 of compulsory school, years 7-10 of special school and upper secondary school, and equivalent education, are represented in work environment activities by pupil safety representatives.

De som genomgår eftergymnasial utbildning och annan utbildning för vuxna än kommunal vuxenutbildning som anpassad utbildning företräds i arbetsmiljöarbetet av studerandeskyddsombud. Ett studerandeskyddsombud ska vara minst 18 år. Lag (2023:349).

Persons undergoing post-secondary education and adult education other than municipal adult education as adapted education are represented in work environment activities by student safety representatives. A student safety representative must be at least 18 years old. Act (2023:349).
